Romans 8:25 :- But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Mark 8: 17- 21 :- But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? 18Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.”Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.”So He said to them, “How is it you do not understand?”

Hebrews 12:1 :- Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

The Bible is the most complete book ever written. It contains everything that pertains to life and godliness for man. 2nd Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT) says that “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” One of the ways to drive up faith in our hearts is when we find parallels of our lives in the Scripture. By this we see, know and understand what the Lord is doing. God speaks through the pages of the Scripture. Recently, while going through a rough patch, I took time out to ask God what was going on and why I needed to go through what I was going through. The Lord pointed me to a passage in Job that I had never seen before. It spoke about my situation word for word, shedding light to what was happening in and around me. It was profound, and therefore I had peace, knowing fully well that I was right in the midst of God’s plans, despite its inconvenience.
The Scripture also lets us know the possibilities that exist for us who are Children of God. This is the crux of this devotional. You see, the Bible is filled with numerous testimonies of how the Lord wrought victories for his people, how miracles were performed for the saving of the lost, and many healings, deliverances that showed us what was possible for us who are ambassadors of the Lord’s Kingdom. In the scriptures, God showed His consistency and what He can do. Realizing the possiblities in Him through the Scriptures and the testimony of the saints stirs up our faith, which is a requirement to drawing virtue from Him. Faith, according to Romans 10:17 (AMP) comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ. ‘ Jesus Christ is the author of our Faith and therefore we see through Him, the concept of the Kingdom of God.
In Mark 8: 14-21, we can see a situation where Jesus Christ’s disciples were arguing about food, and Jesus scolded them. They had witness Him multiplying Bread and Fish to feed 5000 people and at another time, He did the same to feed 4000 plus people. The disciples were here again arguing that they had not brought enough bread for a trip they were making and were trading blames. Christ’s scolding went thus “Knowing what they were thinking, Jesus said to them, “Why all this fussing over forgetting to bring bread? Do you still not see or understand what I say to you? Are your hearts still hard? You have good eyes, yet you still don’t see, and you have good ears, yet you still don’t hear, neither do you remember. When I multiplied the bread to feed more than five thousand people, how many baskets full of leftovers did you gather afterward?” “Twelve,” they replied. “And when I multiplied food to feed over four thousand, how many large baskets full of leftovers did you gather afterwards?” “Seven,” they replied. “Then how is it that you still don’t get it?” Mark 8:17-21 (TPT). Faith comes by seeing what is possible through the Scriptures and the testimonies of those who have gone ahead of us. If it was possible for them, it is possible for us.
In Matthew 9:19-22, the woman who had the issue of blood had drawn virtue from our Lord Jesus Christ by faith. She had seen the miracles Christ had performed and believed strongly in her heart that if she could touch the helm of His garment, she would be healed. By that faith, she was made whole. In Matthew 14:34-36, the people of Gennesaret begged Jesus to allow their sick touch the helm of His garment and all those who did found healing. The testimony of the woman with the issue of blood had produced so much faith, that a city tapped into her testimony, thereby achieving the same result. According to Britannica, Track Record means “the things that someone or something has done or achieved in the past regarded especially as a way to judge what that person or thing is likely to do in the future.“. We know our God does not change (Malachi 3:6 KJV), and we know that Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. ‘(Hebrews 13:8 KJV). God is consistent and the truth is the Word of God is alive and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). We can rely on the testimonies in the scripture and that of those around us to draw from the Lord, producing huge possibilities for us in Christ. Faith is stirred in us by the Word of God, and the testimony of the saints.
Is there any issue tugging at your heart, that seems impossible to surmount. Sit with the Scriptures to find a testimony or promise about or around it, confess it as your truth, believe the report of the Lord, and watch the hand of the Lord move in your favour.
